    I did it.

    It was big in Yorkshire.

We rubbed soot on our faces and wore an old white sheet.

Trick-or-treat is obtaining money with menaces. ASBO the lot of them. If the parents accompany them, bang them up for aiding and abetting. Anyone carrying eggs or keys are going equipped. While they're in the street, they're obstructing the Queen's Highway. If they say it was all a bit of fun, do them for perjury.

Its happened in my past where the car got egged or sprayed with silly string........i think that was old bitchy next door neighbour.......it was war until they moved

That reminds i'm going to have to buy buckets of sweets for the the trick-or-treaters tomorrow but i wonder if they'll mind if i give them a few coppers??? Look on the brightside every penny counts!!

They've already been round a bit in our area, usually have some sweets ready. The big thing is the fireworks tomorrow night, I'll be out dancing but because we are on a hill we usually get a great view from the upstairs back windows of about 15 or more firework displays at once.

And it was turnips we carved when I was a child, not pumpkins.

I'll be having a nervous breakdown as tootsie and a small group of her friends are going out themselves. They'll not go far but I'll still be totally uptight until she comes back.

If i return home early from work then my sis and i will be taking our younger sisters and their friend trick or treating. We're not getting dressed up but our younger sisters and their friend will be dressed up. If i come home late then my sis will be taking them.......oh what joy!!

Guising was pretty big in edinburgh growing up but less so the trick side. I got pretty freaked out one year when i went with a friend and an old man stuck a bread knife out the door at us!

It was cattle fodder turnips for us too.

They weren't half tough to gouge out.

Plus, the candle kept blowing out in the wind.

It always amazed me that, even though we were in disguise, the householder would open the door and say "hello Mary, here you are" handing over some sweets, it was hardly ever money. (In Yorkshire, you gotta be joking)

Ok sport fans just been to Asda and bought £30 worth of sweets and chocolates for trick or treaters.

Couldnt find a pumpkin so i have nailed a dead cat to my front door.

Nobody has rung the bell yet.

Self explanatory. A few kids have rang my bell although i can't be bothered to answer it so my sis is

There was a time when the kids around my mate's area started throwing stuff at her door so her partner began throwing stuff back at the kids. One kid decided to steal her partner's pumpkin so he got in his car and started driving around the area to find the kid who stole his pumpkin

Some pics from tonights Trick or Treating. I particularly like my neighbours effort to look like the one out of Hellraiser. He used wax to make the pins stick to his face.
