Quick question - is there nothing on on the 30th ? I'm probably going to come to London for the Utopia thing and Windsor NYE so it would be nice to find some dancing on the sunday too... a sunday smooth may be, Paul F ?

    Re: Post-Xmas parties: The Poll

I am preparing a list (Lynda's List) of pre and post Xmas parties and NYE balls/parties - if anyone would like theirs to be on my list please email/pm me please - I hope to make it a 'National' list this year

    Thanks

Could we also have links to where/how to get tickets as the only one I can find at present is Ashtons!

    Or else I'm being thick

Well, I'd recommend ceroc.com, but, oops...

I've put the organiser names in deliberately, so that (hopefully) the websites are relatively straightforward to find.

EDIT: I've updated the event names with more info, hope that helps.

Ceroc Greenwich don't seem to even have the date for Slinky's up on their website as yet (they did on the old one, but not on the new site), but assume that there will be a link nearer the time.

This may be of interest to anyone travelling in the next couple of months.

Eastern UK train operater GNER is selling off-peak travel tickets for just £5 each way across its entire network, which includes stations between London in the South and Inverness in the North.

Unlikely that I'm going to be able to make any post-xmas dances as I'm away in the Lake District visiting family

That is unless anyone can suggest anything within about 1-2hrs drive of Kendal

Ooo, sorry. I tend to only skim threads so don't pick up on any questions directed to me

Nope. Sunday Smoove wont be running as the course has finished.
I think the plan was to have it running as a permanent fixture but the only way to do that would have been to make it a hybrid night i.e. a definate MJ/WCS night.

As we frightened off most of the MJ people from day 1 I dont think it was ever going to happen

If you ask me nicely I might see if I can get a freestyle night at the new venue we will be running. After all, it does have a perfect floor

Ok. Shameless self-promoting plug but as this new class night is independant I had to. I just had to
