    Re: rapid response

Fletch - when I got hit by a car in April, I was advised (by a legal forumite) to look at the Law Society's website to find a personal injury solicitor. I suggest that you do the same. They will be able to advise you how to proceed.

Even if the girl driving had no insurance, was the car insured by the owner? Apparently, in cases like ours, the insurance of the party who caused the accident would normally pay for any legal fees. Am sure that someone else will be able to advise if there was no insurance at all, even third party.

Make sure you get some appropriate treatment for that whiplash. Guess you'll not be dancing for the moment.

If this isnt her first conviction then she should be put before a firing squad immediately. One less scum ball in the country.

I was talking to her, after the police arrived, she told me, that the guy who's car it was, was doing the driving, he was hand cuffed and put in the back of a police van as soon as they arrived, she also said that she had had an accident some time before and was only 3rd party cover and she had crashed her car, cos it was her fault she neaver got anything.

Well I guess it all depends on the details. IF she was drunk/drugged this time and IF she was drunk/drugged while driving causing her previous accident then, yep, I feel society would be a better place if she was removed form it.

You know what, I think I should make the laws in this country

I'm a bit confused - was the girl driving or the owner?

Was the car completely uninsured, or did it have even 3rd party cover?

I belive one of the passengers was the owner of the car, not sure about the insurence.
