It could be remade - look here and see the comment at the very end. Sci-fi and Fantasy is BIG nowadays....if only someone would consider a new series

ooooh another one i used to love

    Bionic Man then Bionic Woman.

My brother had a jean jacket just like the bionic man and he used to jump out of trees making the same sound as the programme did. Funny as hell when i think back to it.

[QUOTE=Beowulf1970;422728]I CANNOT believe no-one's said "TIZWAS" yet.

Sally James , Buckets of water, Wet T-shirts. I knew I liked it as a kid I just didn't realise WHY I liked it until I was that little bit older

what were the other two main presenters called? erm.. Chris Tarrant & Lenny Henry

Hmm.. wasnt Lenny Henry dressed up as "Trevor Mcdonut" (aka Mcdonald)
in one episode, i saw a clip of it on 100 greatest childrens programmes.

I remember all of those apart from cracker jack and the banana splits

theyre used to be a similar sounding programme though called Bananas in Pyjamas! About two bananas and three teddy bears and a grumpy miserable victor meldrew type rat whose catchphrase was "Oh cheese and whiskers!"

I hated worzel gummidge, he scared me,

this is so embarrasing to admit but i thought top cat was my hero when i was six! I loved how city slick he was, justtttt call me TC officer dibble!

Sooty and Sweep i adored, my favourite character was always SOO because she was the only girl, but sweep was very sweet!
