For me:
Fifth: Distance. Not so important for me. I have travelling 70 miles to get to the futher venue I have been and regular travel 30 or so mile (both ways) each night. But I venue has to be worth the petrol money to get there.
Fourth: The general standard of dancers. Not as important for me as I don't mind dancers which beginners (except on very slow or very fast tracks).
Third: The music. I hate it when the DJ just sets up tracks then wanders on the dancefloor for quarter of an hour. By doing this you usually get the same tracks in the same order every week and it is so annoying, especially if you don't particulary like that set of music.
Second: The floor. I like fast floors. What I don't like are dusty floor that wouldn't look out of place as decking in the yard. It shouldn't take effort for me to spin. However not too fast as I do know one venue which is pretty lethal.
First & Top Issue: Not having to park my car in a random sidestreet. Yesterday I had the option to get in at a venue for free but simply chose not to go as I hate not being able to park in specific venue car parking. I worry too much and it just distracts me all night.
