Sounds like last night was mobbed, over 150 new members joined and over 200 Ceroc members came down for the opening night, to the organisers for getting that many new people down there!

Anyone go? What did you think?

It was quite busy! Two review classes were held as the numbers were so large. I think it is a record for new members joining in one night!

    It was a good night!

I missed the classes and only arrived when the freestyle was underway but I do believe there was the odd record or 2 broken last night! The venue is quite fantastic. Very large, well proportioned room, with a lovely floor. A drapey false ceiling (the real ceiling is very high), which gave a lovely ambience, complemented by the lighting. Not too dark, not too bright. Good acoustics. Great friendly atmosphere.

Quite simply a stonking great opening night, and lets hope that all those beginners were able to soak up the atmosphere and be inspired to keep coming back.

Huge to Alan and Sue and all the hard work they have put in to create a such an evening.

    Mary

That's weird, I assumed it'd be a Ceroc London franchise, but it's not, it's Club Ceroc - I thought they were exclusivly in West London.

I've no idea what the franchise borders are in London, but it seems a bit cheeky, opening up a francise right in between Cricklewood and Harrow...

Don't worry DJ, Mike & Bradders are well aware of what opens up, when and where

Well, that's a weight off my mind.

I wasn't worried, just a little surprised. Given that Harrow's fairly quiet anyway, I'd imagine this sounds the death knell for that venue. Which is a shame.

Harrow still going? That place has had more failed come-backs than Bruno.

    It's a shame really, because it's a lovely venue, with a great teacher - and I saw a mutual friend taxi-ing there a few years back .

But it's just a real pain to get to.
