Haven't seen a thread started on this yet...
Can the mods do their bit if people post things up please, as per the previous couple of weeks?
Saturday Chiswick Freestyle
Have been wondering about going to this (since it's not quite so hot now) but am wondering with the rugby on, will there actually be anyone there to dance with? Or will equal numbers of men and women stay away, leaving the plenty of space on the dance floor?
Is there anything else on?
Or, if there's nothing else on, will it be packed.
Basically, after observing and talking to organisers of events for many years, I can sum up their accumulated wisdom as "You never know"
So you may as well just go if you want to, or not if you don't - it's not worth trying to predict numbers.
Well Stevenage is ON.
They have arranged for TVs to be installed - including a room with TV as well.
It will be decorated Red and White - so that is the theme.
And if England win, then 'bubbles' are promised.......(I guess that means Pomagne).

Jag Jive at Gt. Bookham on Saturday night, also with a TV room.
Will the blues music be more fitting for England supporters after the game is over?
Also Cat & Hannes have their Ballroom and WCS night on Saturday at Baden Powell House.

The last time I was there ( about 6 weeks ago, ) The floor was very sticky in one room
and sloaped from one end of the room to the other, in the bluesy room. (which was great if you had a tall partner to dance with cos if you turned the other way they became a bit shorter or visa versa for a short partner !)
That said it was busy and hot !
Friday - Jive Addiction: The Blues Lounge - Derby
Love dance, will travel
Friday 19th
Peter Phillips is joining local DJ & taking his VJ DJ set to Dorking LeRoc for the venues 9th birthday.
Friday 19th, Red Hot & Blue, Edinburgh.
The floor in the main room was sticky about 2 or 3 months ago, and Twirly hurt her foot, so obviously had not been unstickyfied later when you were there. It is always busy and hot. Wonder why it is so popular?

It has a decent sound system, and the 2 rooms.
Plus the 2 rooms are a few feet from each other, ON THE SAME FLOOR.
Shame the floor is dirty and there's no ventilation.
But if they are turning people away, there's no real need for ceroclondon to improve things.

Does that mean you will be at Daventry?
I hear there are still places for Amir and Cat's Jango workshop in Daventry before the Moulin Rouge freestyle ... bookable online ...
