Im surprised Manchester is in there.
After years of being slated as the worst place to live in the UK, my home town has finally been able to pass on this crown to .... Middlesbrough. My only thought is considering what a mess Stoke is, with one of the most incompetent Council's ever conceived and a ridiculous level of teenage pregnancies ... just how bad is Middlesbrough
Per Google...
The top 20 worst list:
1. Middlesbrough - North East
2. Hull - Humberside
3. Newham - East London
4. Nottingham - East Midlands
5. Merthyr Tydfil - South Wales
6. North East Lincolnshire - Eastern England
7. Islington - North London
8. Blaenau Gwent - South Wales
9. Mansfield - East Midlands
10. Knowsley - Merseyside
11. Blackpool - North West
12. Hackney - East London
13. Stoke-on-Trent - Staffordshire
14. Barking and Dagenham - East London
15. Doncaster - South Yorkshire
16. Cannock Chase - Staffordshire
17. Manchester - North West
18. Haringey - North London

Im surprised Manchester is in there.
Oh London ONLY got mentioned 5 times however those places in areas of London isn't in the South East London It seems nowhere in Scotland is mentioned maybe we should consider moving to a better not so rough area just a thought LOL. Im surpised Catford, Bromley, Lewisham, Greenwich, Blackheath etc (SE London) isn't mentioned!!
Manchester has the highest number of ASBO's (Anti-Social Behaviour Orders) last time i checked which was a while ago!!
Hastings has the highest number of street drinkers.
And Awful dancers.
Ouch!!! Bet it sucks to dance there I've been to Hastings a few times but that was a few years ago and i haven't been back since then lol
I once had a drinker that looked like Hagrid out of the Harry potter films randomly swear at me as I walked past (he had some brilliant swear words that I hadn't even heard before). Two weeks later, I saw him dancing at a Venue !!!
I don't think i've come across street drinkers in the dance classes.
Although there was a time when i was in beginners class a dude started winding up 2 of the taxi dancers and one taxi dancer just yelled at him and i don't blame her for doing that. Plus he was constantly drinking and just behaved like a drunken guy!!
Sometimes i do wonder if people just come to the dance classes because theres a bar at the back of the hall?!
There is a chap I've seen a couple of times (Clapham, Slinky's) who looks like this. And smells like this too He asked me to dance once - never again. It's a shame, as he's actually not a bad dancer, but I can't hold my breath for 3 minutes (particularly whilst dancing)
I don't think he ever bathed - I'm serious. This wasn't a simple case of "of I forgot to shower this evening before I came out, but it's OK cause I had one this morning." This was a case of might have had one last month if he's lucky. *shudder* I did wonder if there were mental health problems involved actually - felt a bit sorry for him.
The first time I saw him, I actually kept an eye on him as I thought he was a tramp had walked in off the street (he hadn't attended class), it was only later that I saw him dancing. Anyone else come across him?
he's a very nice dancer, and a nice pearson
some people might consider a bag on there heads, IMHO, but that would be my opinion.
True beauty comes from within, try looking past you might be surprised.
He is a nice guy, and I had lovely dance with him I think Clapham is his local venue although he hasn't dance much lately

Couldn't see a link in Gus's post, so here's one here...
It says "Scotland and Northern Ireland don’t feature at all", but it's not clear whether that's because they weren't included in the study, or whether we are just such great countries to live in. I figure the latter.
