I don't like to repeat bad spelling in my posts. Even when I'm quoting somebody else - unless I'm complaining about their spelling or grammar

For example, I would leave the post below unchanged if I was complaining that stewart38 had failed to capitalise the "I". I would amend the post if I was debating the actual content of that post. I would probably do a bit of research on the term "miss quotes" as well as I would say misquotes. If there had been capitals I might have thought Miss Quotes was a friend of Mrs Malaprop.

So i think miss quotes can lead to bitching ?

Then again, maybe there's rules about not capitalising your I when you don't capitalise your name in the first place

Reading the article it seems to me that we, as a species, are a bit like bees, most of us guys are expendable workers, occasionally less than half of us get, briefly, promoted to drone for breeding puposes - the difference between us and bees is that every woman in our species is a queen.

Yes, it's weird, but the thing that threw me from the article was this line:

Part of this is because you can no longer criticise Ceroc on here in the way you could in the past. You can still be hyper-critical of Ceroc's competition - but that's far less fun

I think the voice of the 'independent' is less vocal on the forum then in the past

A number of regular contributors to the forum are on ceroc payroll now so it understandable

yup - they would have done all that "older mother" stuff that they do in the labour suite....when you're there 48 hours longer than the 16 year old in the next cubicle who popped her's out in about 50 minutes.... I'm not bitter... not much anyway........

But I thought in general it took longer for primogenidae, especially the teenagers.

It can do but generally our bodies are better designed to bear children in our late teens.... by the time you hit your mid twenties your getting a bit creaky and by the time you're in your thirties/forties... well...

That said, there's a vast "bump" of mothers not starting to have families until their 30's and 40's now.... which is what I did....

The logician would say - If you took that long to get the baby in, in the first place, of course it would take longer to get it out.



But seriously, I am sure the relief of having it completed successfully and the late addition to the family would have compensated for the delivery problems. Too many people take conception for granted.
