I like Gus's threads - I just wish they were a bit more evenly-spread is all...

The REAL reason is that I don't have broadband at home so I can only usual post when I get to my local free wifi spot ... which is continently located in a local pub
I try to not post on the Forum while at the Client's site, even though its unrestricted internet access

When it comes to new thread creation surely all of us would want to incite debate ? Later on you can comment something specific to nurture the debate. How can you nurture something that doesn't exist ?

When I start a thread .... it tends to be something I care about or find important
Are you suggesting Gus posts stuff he neither cares about or finds important ? Thats MY threads you're thinking about Do you not like Gus or something ?

This is from a guy that thread starts

    -------------------------

I can make it grow, but what happens when it goes floppy

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Ha

That got your attention - yeah I know

Well I have a big problem!
When I got it, it was small, nicely proportioned, firm and well formed.
But now it's grown and gone a bit wild.

    So advice needed . . . .

    -------------------------

Please just because a lot of your threads get no response dont knock some that do

Tried to be open to what you were saying (feedback should never be ignored, no matter what the form) and looked back over my last 20 or so threads. Couple were controversial, few others had a point to make ..... BUT, I really can't see where the majority could be seen as being set out on a negative path. Could you give examples of what you mean ... or you if you can't justify your statement you could just have the courtesy to withdraw it?

As far as I'm concerned, Gus is following the guidelines about thread posting - for example:

I think its quite cool that Gus adds loads of threads for us to debate over.
Whats even cooler is someone creating ANOTHER thread about him because of it!!

    Thats funny!
