    Coming to NZ

Hope to finalise my visit to NZ (over Xmas / early Jan) in the next few days. Spending some time in Auckland then going to do mad things in Queenstown / Milford Sound. Any NZ dancers on the Forum? Mind dropping me a PM recommending places to go, venues to dance at, places where beer and gorgeous (and short-sighted/desperate) lasses may be found?

If you head a little bit further south, about four hours you may be in luck

I was implying that if Gus ventured a little bit further South e.g. Australia that he might find some short sighted lasses...

We don't get much in the way of excitment down here in Adelaide very often...

Poor Katie! Maybe you should book a trip to NZ as well then!

    Ceroc Christchurch

If the link works you'll see we have parties in ChCh on Sat 24th November and Thurs 20th Dec.

Although I've just been visiting Sydney for the last two weeks and would do just about anything to go back there! Aussie style ROCKS!!!!

    Good luck

The 2 places to dance that I know of in NZ are Wellington and Christchurch.

Adam and Mandy in Wellington have raised the bar, as has Debs in Christchurch.

Otherwise you are on your own mate!!!

Really Martin! Shame on you! There's perfectly good dancing ALL OVER New Zealand and no need for you to go bothering our sheep.

baaa, but they are so lovely and cuddly...

I had a blast in Wellington at the "Simply Ceroc" do the end of last year. Met a load of people who travelled from all over NZ for it.

So many friendly people in NZ - you guys are great

I am off to NZ myself in just over a week Gus and hoping to fit in some dancing as well so I will let you know which venues I discover. Doing a whistle stop tour of North Island. Have you seen this website:-

Dance classes - Learn to dance

    Have a fun trip

Thanks for that. Think I was a bit unclear as to why I asked for place to dance. I know the N Island clubs pretty well from previous trips. The problem is that I'll be there over the Christmas / New Year period when things quieten down considerably. I was sort of asking for local views as to what will be open and where the dancers will be. I'm already booked for for NYE but am trying to see if there are other venues/events to teach / DJ / coach at .... and of course any parties to get horrendously drunk at etc. etc.
