Not saying that this is you Turbo Tomato, but as as Grumpy old bird that I am think that there is nothing more daft than men who are going bald to try to disguise the fact with an Arthur Scargil, that is the bits grown longer around the edges of the bald patch then positioned with super glue over the said bald patch, only Arthur's kept blowing in the wind. Bless.
Women are not put off by bald men and in fact some of us think that baldness is really sexy and a completly shaved head is really very sexy.

Now my grumpy old woman rant is why can't they have inbetween sizes for example size 11, 13, 15 I have tended to be more these sizes than the even ones.

Nope, I definitely mean Lionel Blair. From an old lager ad from the 80s - unfortunately that was the best reference I could find to it on the web.

Re: Grumpy old (or otherwise) women's thread

    Heres one for you

My problem is im realy good mates with this boy and today he came up and stood right next to me and looked lovingly into my eyes

I was very flattered but said nothing.

The boy said, "Fine then dont say hi to me."

OH MY GOD WHY DO MEN ALWAYS EXPECT US TO MAKE ANY MOVE

IT WOUDLNT HURT HIM TO SAY HELLO FIRST.

Something else that really annoyed me today

Two sixformers were handing out leaflets today for a xmas fair. They were both from the "Posh School" St Francis College For Girls.

Its one thing to chuck the leaflet onto the ground but its another when you set fire to it!!!

Me and my friend Anna were disgusted, when we saw two boys do that exact thing. Then they also threw them SNAP BANG noisy things on the floor and made two old ladies jump. They laughed but the old ladies looked like they had been mugged.

I get very cross when this sort of thing happens, the society around us can be a scary place, especially for more older, vunerable people.

Recently we were given an assembly at school by our headteacher who was furious with some year 11 boys for chucking apples at an old lady as she sat inside her little house, the apples hit the windows making a terrible mess.

I just hate it when people get a kick out of seeing someone scared r destroying something, i suggest if you want to destroy something, destroy one of your own things instead of other peoples!!!!!!

    Time to revive this thread...

Been off work for two days with a cold (ill for 5 days altogether) and came back today, still feeling very tired and a bit cr@p. It's the Christmas party tonight, I don't feel up to going and of course everyone else is in high spirits...

This may be just a classic example of my inflexible male brain not being able to jump tracks fast enough, but ... size 11 / 13 / 15 men? What can a size 13 man do for you that size 12 / 14 men cannot? Do I even want to know the answer to this question? Is it Friday yet?

I'm off work, feel pretty rotten and have had to cancel today for work Christmas lunch on Fri because I don't want to leave it till the last minute (meal pre-ordered). I reckon I won't feel up to going anyway but its still a bit disappointing to have to miss out.

I'll just grump along with you Twirly.

Re: Grumpy old (or otherwise) women's thread

I've got the right bleedin' hump.

I bought a DVD for one of my mates for Christmas from Tescos, along with all my other shopping. When I got home the DVD wasn't in any of my bags. I checked my receipt...I definitely paid for it, but it's not there. The only thing I can think is that I left it at the end of the check out, lost under a million bags that they just leave at the end of the check out.

I phoned them and they said nothing had been handed in, so some git has got themselves a free DVD.

I spend thousands of pounds a year at Tesco...I wanted to tell them how much I spend and demand a replacement for my loyalty, but I know they can't just hand out stuff to people otherwise everyone would do it.

It's bad enough losing £14.99 but it's the aggravation of having to go out and buy another one, when I've just about finished all my Christmas shopping.

Rant over. I'm going down the pub.
