Here’s our own girlie thread to rant and rave on…

Why do you wait ages for a bus and then three come along at once? (can be applied to dancing too – why do you play wallflower at dancing for several tracks, then get asked to dance several tracks in a row and end up knackered?!)

Why do people stand in the middle of pavements gossiping and getting in your way when there’s a perfectly good and empty edge of the pavement nearby?

Why don’t people let you off the train/tube/bus before trying to get on? They can’t get off till you get on…

Come on girls... vent your spleen here

Why does the writing on packs of food have to be so small, even with glasses on I can't read some errr most of it.

People who park in parent's with children or disabled parking spaces, when they are neither disabled or have children

People who allow their dogs to crap on the pavement and leave it there.

    Spitters

    Chewing gum on the pavement

Poor service (ie restaurants and customer help lines)

People who say 'arks' instead of 'ask'.

People who say 'pacific' when they mean 'specific'. I want to kill people when they get it sooooo wrong.

There's a few to be going on with. I have thousands more.

Why is the man who works on the reception at the garage, where I won't be taking my car again to be repaired, so pationising condenscending and thinks he's right all the time.... I am sure he says pacific ..

Why do men insist on being grumpy when they are tired.

Why do men insist on having the remote control.

ooh and finally my rant for the day - why do men chuck their clothes on the floor and leave them there.

Don't shop in the supermarket, call into local butchers and greengrocers - then you can buy the amount you need, and get a more personal service too. I love that I live in a village that has these local shops 10 mins walk from my house.

And on a similar note, why do they have to have "buy one get one free" offers on economy sized bags of fresh fruit/veg? I'm usually shopping for one, but even if I was shopping for 2, I doubt we'd get through 30-40 satsumas before they went off! Just make the darned thing 1/3 off...

Why is it that housework never seems to end?

My friend's husband did something similar - he put his washing behind the bedroom door (just like he did when he was a child ) rather than in the laundry basket. It drove her to distraction (and nearly divorce!)... I told her to just leave them there, and when he ran out of clean clothes he's ask why his washing hadn't been done (she was part-time housewife at the time, he worked full-time, hence her doing the domestics). She was then to say "well where did you leave it?"... and point out that if it wasn't in the basket it wouldn't get done. It worked. Within a few weeks, she had him trained to put the clothes in the basket... with just the occasional lapse

I'm not grumpy when I'm tired.. I'm just thick. I become monosyllabic and confused. Still quite cheery though.

I don't mind WHO has the RC. however, in my flat. there's one for the TV, one for The DVD player, one for the DVD amp and one for the Digi box. it's often easier for me to turn the channel over and the volume down than it is for any guest / loved one ;0

I have a Laundry basket and I'm not afraid to use it. Although I WILL admit to getting undressed and having my clothes on the floor until I put them INTO it the next morning. And I deliberately do not put my clothes into Twirly's laundry basket as I don't want her to bother her pretty self washing my clothes. I put them back into my suitcase , flay them back to Aberdeen and wish them there.

If you ask people to clearify something because you didnt understand it, and they then repeat what they said word for word I am foreign you stupid person, not deaf. I heard you perfectly the first time, I just didnt understand what you said.

Oh and people who drown themselves in aftershave or perfume and stink out the whole train carriage.

I buy chicken breasts, etc in bulk, then wrap them individually for the freezer. I know it's a drag, but saves wasting food.
