The traffic reports keep talking about an "earlier accident". Of course it was earlier, calling it so adds nothing to the traffic report and just annoys me when I'm stuck in the queue of non-moving traffic.

Got a work kid of 20 who asked is it the South Pole or North Pole that has land under it ?

Id keep them all in school until there 30 so they get a proper education

yes i hate txt speak or lazy typing - especially when people communicate far more by text than they used to due to this internet thingy. I assume stupidity on the part of people who can't spell or structure a sentence EVERY SINGLE TIME. I do realise they're probably not, but first impressions do count for a lot, especially when the browser can tell you how to spell as you type.

Doesn't seem a stupid question to me .

I mean, OK, the North Pole doesn't have land and the South Pole does, but it's not a completely silly question, it's not completely trivial knowledge.

Anyway, my grump for today is middle-lane motorway hoggers. If you're not overtaking, then use the left hand lane, that's what it's there for.

And no, "I can see a car 2 miles in front and I may need to overtake them" doesn't count as "overtaking"
