What's Southport?
Southport has, over the years, become somewhat of an institution. Some people have been there from the very beginning , some only newly discovered it this September. As for myself, I have done 7 out of the 9 Southports so far, missing only the very first event and February 2007.
So, how many have you attended?
All 9.
Why is the poll anonymous? Would be nice to see who else has been to all 9.
Mrs Par and I have done all 9
Who thinks there should be a medal for ALL 10 in February ??
Is there a reason its not a public poll??? We can't see who has done whatIf there is no reason can it be amended please.

All 9 for me too....
The poll being anonymous was an oversight, I was more interested in numbers than in who had done what. If people would like it to be a public poll maybe one of the friendly moderators would be kind enough to change it for us please?
Have been to every one since my first - which I think was June 2005 - so that would make 7.
And I have loved every one of them - Southport rocks!
PM
I have been to all of them!
I missed the first one, and the second due to having an operation. I've been to every one since though
I have only missed one in September 2005 when I went on holiday to Turkey. have learned since to always plan things around Southport as that event takes precedence.
if you love the life you live then you'll get a lot more done
All 9 for me and I've DJd at 8 of them. Glad to have survived the last one too

Age is a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter
Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)
Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.
It's a clean sweep for me.
I have already booked for both February and June of next year.
Why is this the case?
(a) The cream of the WCS teachers, who keep coming back.
(b) The best atmosphere in the Blues Room on all nights.
(c) The friendships, both present and new, that I have made since it's inception.
(d) The friendliness of the Scottish and Northern dancers.
(e) A good on-site restaurant. This was the deciding factor for me being able to get food without having to go back into Southport to go shopping.
(f) Not that far from London. 3 hrs approx. total train journey from Euston, with half an hour break between trains at Wigan NW and Wallgate for the local journey.
(g) The cab ride from the station to the complex. Sets you up nicely for the weekend
(h) Effective organisation and admin from Wes and John downwards, who make time for everyone during the weekend and appreciate their efforts.
(j) The family atmosphere from those with children and partners.
(k) Because it deserves to be the No. 1 Weekender and everyone should try and get there when and if they can.
