    Tuesday nights in London

Down in London on Tuesday night but unsure as to where to go.

Would love to go to Greenwich but its a bit far (I'm staying at Putney Bridge). The three likely candidates are ISH; East Putney or Ealing. Any recommendations? I know Jive Nation is also on but I thought I'd visit them on Wednesday instead.

You could try out Fairfields Halls in East Croydon. (Ceroc Kent)

You need to tube it to Victoria, and then the fast train to East Croydon (15 min). The venue is a 2 minute walk from the station.

Very busy venue, would say there is approx 150-200 peeps on the floor in the freestyle.

Haven't been there for about 8 years ... last time I was there Mick Wenger was in fine form.

I think Zulus is free tomorrow - or at least, I saw a big "free" word somewhere in the mail they sent, my brain tuned out at about that point...

It's on the Facebook thing - be my friend and I'll share it with you

Hmmm, I re-read it and it says:
We have new memberships keytags, they cost £2, but for all regulars and Facebook members, membership will be FREE this week.
Aha, so it's not free, but they're offering free membership. Duh...

    Oh well.

As for attendees, I heard it was quiet a few weeks back, but it may have picked up now.

There's always Golders Green, where you can meet up with your old friend ESG. Elliot will be on the decks, and I'll be there to make sure you don't make any trouble...

I noticed this review from Astro on another thread. I haven't been to a class night at Putney for a while, but Tim is an excellent teacher and the floor was great the last freestyle I went to - so was the air con, although that's not quite so vital now that summer seems to have gone.

    Certainly local for you

    1. Great fast floor.

    2. Sound system is brand new and spot on.

    3. Air conditioning.

    Highly reccomended by Yours Truly.

They are also hosting the Sunday Squeeze on Sundays. I will be trying that soon.

I'm afraid older and wiser lasses than you have tired and failed to stop me causing trouble

Unfortunately Golders Green is WAAAYYY to far North for me. Shame really. If I'm down again and get digs nearer I'll certainly try to see how the young lad is progressing

Gus, fyi, Ealing is a party night, a one year anniversary etc, black tie optional and no doubt ladies will be glammed up.

Bryony and I went with Katie, but we arrived just as someone was doing a demo: they pumped up the music volume for it which upset Katie and we didn't end up staying long. The whole setup was pretty impressive though - proper stage, music and portable dance floor (small dance floor, but still); there were a lot of people from the venue there in Ceroc t-shirts, 3 sets of Ceroc teachers, classes etc.

Almost worth going, to see you go round the room, asking people "Are you Gus?"

Do you reckon many men will make the effort?
