    Quick query for London folk...

Nearest mainline to Westminister? Need to get someone from there to York via train. Might need a few tube stops on the way.

    Ta.

Jubilee Line from Westminster - change at Green Park for Victoria Line to Kings Cross.

Waterloo and Victoria are the closest physically, but that's no use from York. I assume the train lines to York are from Kings Cross?

Probably best to look at maps - here:
    Maps | Transport for London

    GNER timetable here:
    GNER.co.uk > Current Timetable (20 May to 08 December 2007) > Mondays to Fridays - Northbound

You won't have a choice of terminus - I too think the York line goes to King's Cross/St Pancras.

Which is why I gave her directions to Kings Cross.

Trust the chaps to whitter on about choices of terminus, train timetables, etc... You'd think they were trainspotters, or something.
