yes, the south african team must be having sleepless nights thinking about the upcoming england game after england could only beat the US by 18 points No, good to see the footy and cricket teams get some wins - lets hope it can continue to the russia game and the 20/20 world cup. (Good to see Mark Cavendish win the prologue and first stage of the tour of Britain as well)

Australia slaughtered Japan in the Rugby (revenge for the soccer defeat in Asian Cup). Lauren Jackson was voted MVP for the season in the WNBA. Australian cricketers won 5 out of 9 awards at the ICC Awards last night. Spring has already sprung in Sydney and its still winter.

Makes me feel awesome that I am an Aussie and live in the best country on the planet!!!!

Thetruth has omitted to mention that Australia just lost to Zimbabwe in the 20/20 cricket, and the telly here is rubbish!! (Anyone back home want to know what the upcoming plotlines will be in Neighbours).

Your not playing England soon ??

I predicted a 3-0 win last night and a 3-0 win for England last Saturday

I guess its not rocket science you have to go a long ways back since the last time England didnt win 3-0 in a competitive competition

But great result for Scotland in France, i think they were 25 to 1 for a 1-0 ??

Last night I text my mate saying that it was going to be 2-0 England in 8 minutes, and in 8 mins it was 2-0 England.

And at the corner, from which Rio scored, I said he was gonna score.

Should have put a damn bet on

I hate to differ with ya DS but Stevenage was empty of men last night...... they were clearly sitting at home watching the feckin football.

So annoying, so bloody annoying. Mind you, forced me to do my first intermediate as a lead.

    Three cheers for England, indeed.

I haven't seen such a one sided embarrassment of a game in a long time. (i use the word "game" becuase it was never a match)

Perhaps, if the rugby squad had 3 lions on their shirt instead of a poncy rose, they might follow Jason Robinson's example and play with some heart...

    Anyone offering odds on Samoa?

Hopefully England will win their remaining pool matches and then face Australia.................................nothing can make up for the loss of a world cup but Australia will be licking their lips for a match against England.
