Dance shoe sizes

I know that different manufacturers shoes fit slightly differently than others and can be slightly different sizes, but what is it with Bloch's mental sizing system?
Do they want to make it impossible to buy shoes electronically?

I now have 2 pairs of Bloch trainers, both UK size 10.5
Firstly, I'm UK size 8.5/9 but these fit nicely.
But more confusingly, 1 pair is US/Bloch size 13.5 and the other is US/Bloch size 12?
1 Pair is Japan size 305 and the other is Japan size 290?

How is it they can be different sizes and the same size?

I don't go by size. I just see how comfortable the fit is.

WithBloch it all depends which style Bloch trainer you go for.From experience fitting them in the shop th Boost is a nightmare to fit! The Evolution is a lovely fit though.
