Hardly. I'm Scottish and know my history fairly well, and I have a liking for Catalan culture. Anyway, checking Wikipedia now, I found out lots more to celebrate. Happy birthday to Brian de Palma, Franz Beckenbaur, Moby, and Harry Connick Junior. So there's my movies, sports and music settled for today too.

I won't mention the other event of note today. Well, OK - personally, I don't find Johnny Vegas funny, but happy birthday to him too.
