I wish to protest that the 'What have you learnt in the last 24 hours' thread has been moved. Why couldn't it stay where it was?

Also, those threads seem to generate a higher level of private information than usual, on occasion, which could otherwise be seen by anyone / Google / whatever. In the Private Lounge, only members can see this information, so there's a bit more protection on that front.

I moved it because it contained a fair amount of personal information of some of the people who posted regularly on it, and thought that it would be better in the "Private Lounge", away from the prying eyes of search engines and non-members.
I moved "The Person Below Me" thread for the same reason.
Do you have any good reasons why it should be moved back into "Chit Chat"?

Don't you use the "recent/new threads" link at the top of the page then? Doesn't matter where the thread is then. I find this the easiest way to keep up, but do wish it would also list the threads that are upstairs... I find it so hard to keep up with those

Not enough time. Usually log on, check for PMs and Rep, look at the Chit chat threads, read the interesting sounding ones. If there's something I'm thinking of going to I might check the Social Events board, but the Private Lounge is usually infested with a sort of fey tweeness that I can't usually take for more than a minute or two. What have you learnt thread is now similarly doomed, I fear...
