Met lots of forum people tonight.

DavidB, Lily, Minnie M, in fact hordes of folk from the south coast... good to meet you all...

... and indeed Andy as well.

About whose shirt I will say more tomorrow.

Nice to meet your wife, too, Andy (was that Sue? I'm terrible at names.)

Don't sell yourself short, mate. Nina is exceptionally good at getting the best out of her dance partners, whatever their level.

If she got the best out of you, it was still you - set your aspirations no lower than that, and move on from there.

Great meeting you too Chris - as you can see took me a little longer to get home !

The shirt ????? He had a GOLD one on last night at Dorking - he has given one to DavidB too

Age is a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter
    Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)

Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.

I just knew my shirt would get mentioned (mainly because Chris said it was going to be).

By a bizarre coincidence, The Tramp has already been in touch (at 1.15am!) to ask if I can get a gold shirt to him by Friday for him to wear in the Scottish Ceroc Champs

But, as I knew I was going to get some stick I thought I should post a picture of tonight's shirt so everyone knows how bad it is.

What can I say... Andy walked into the room, and it brought Viktor's class to a halt. Those not present for the beginners class may not know that Viktor was wearing a very stylish dark pink shirt, specially for the first post-busk beginners lesson - but he changed out of it for the intermediates class. I was wondering why, but someone had obviously told him Andy was coming.

The photo, BTW, does it no justice at all. He's obviously mucked about with it in PhotoShop or summat - it was MUCH brighter than that.

In the photo it looks positively sombre in comparison with the reality inflicted on us last night.

... but it was a good night, despite the shirt.

This wasn't going to be a separate post - I accidentally hit the refresh button and it went in twice. I can't seem to delete it, unfortunately.

You're right about the photo not being accurate, all I did in Photoshop was lighten it a bit to optimise it for on-screen viewing. The shirt is like Baco Foil on acid. I think you probably need movement to show of its full sparklyness properly

And talking of movement. The floor has been re-varnished at Ealing Town Hall and it's brilliant. Last night I could consistently do double spins in double time, on one foot without travelling and I pulled of my first double time quadruple spin on the spot Then again it could have been the shirt effect

p.s. Also, the photo makes me look older and has given me a double-chin - which I was definitely temped to fix in Photoshop

    Maybe it's the hotshot effect

No, DENIAL is carrying a tin of tomatoes in your dance bag and saying it's because you "haven't had time to unpack"?!

Considering the shirt looks like something you'd use to cook chicken it's surprisingly cool

Chris, you are too kind. Yesterday was the first time I wore that shirt and the photo was taken at 0100 this morning

I thought Denial was a river in Egypt....I know I know, that's as ruff as The MAcGregsters shirt, but someone had to say it, and someone had to wear it. Given the choice what would you do

Yes, Pamster, we can't let this go without knowing more.

p.s. I love the way 'Pamster' has entered Forum usage. I makes her sound so cool, maybe she should ask Franck to change her name

When one is as 'old' as The MacGregster, 5 hours is a long time. He probably gets nervous when he plays an album

I'll give you tinned tomatoes :sorry:
