You mean wandering around aimlessly and without a clue where I'm going, bumping into things and knocking people over?.....Thanks

Must say, even if 90% if the class went over my head, it was still a damn good experience - I may not be able to do those moves consciously, but they are there, nagging at the back of my mind.

Can go through it again next time we dance if you like You wasn't wandering around aimlessly; for anyone who doesn't know who he is, he was the one I was doing the blues with for half the night and I must say, for a beginner, he coped remarkably well, almost too well
(as Boomer would himself say - )

Oh, and just incase the above is a set up for a line about me nagging you; caught in advance, red handed gorilla man!

Well, I guess it does pay to dance with someone who knows how to lead

Pammy, I would never accuse you of nagging...I didn't did I

Nice to put a face to the name, tonight, Pammy. I knew you immediately from your photo...

Don't tell the Sheepster who I am, he hasn't worked it out yet

Most disappointed that you sloped off early though...

    Seeya,
    Chris

There is an even scarier version of this move called the washing machine which I've only done as a woman. The problem I've found is that you get chinned in the goolies part way through
The alternative name we use is the 'front pull' you can blame me for the 'monkey' name - it was one of the first moves I ever taught in Leroc, I used to dance loads of airsteps in rock & roll but this was our fav.

Goodness me, only left this thread yesterday and already it's spawned out of control with all sorts of strange things. Chris I thoroughly enjoyed our dance last night; and I certainly wouldn't describe you as being crap. Sorry couldn't do more, but spent most of the night frantically practicing for Britroc.

Next week though, you and Boomer can split me down the middle if you like

I know, Sorry xx; I did think about that this morning, but I was rushed off my feet last night; and I even got one person having a real moan at me for not dancing with them and I mean REAL MOAN. Sorry again x

Who's going to Ashtons then on the 18th?

Grand Chip Squad Event? Anyone up for it (steady Booster, resist the temptation for double entendres, you've said your fair share for the month! )

    Pammy
    xx

Skiving? No chance, been trying to get some practice in with my stand in partner for Britroc. In practice my brain works too fast for our feet, on the dance floor it's the other way round!
No Hipsters for me next Tuesday either, back on the 21st.

I’ve just been coerced into going - I’m hard to miss, I’ll be the one that's out of my depth so say ‘hi’....thinking of changing my signature. Ah well, in for a penny etc.

    See you there

I'm going to Dorking tonight. David and Lily are teaching. So it should be a good night.

I'm hoping to go tomorrow, it depends on how the day goes and what time I finish my chores but mostly my wife's facial expression when I bring up the subject of a 2 hour 45 minute round trip to Ealing.

Me too - going to Dorking tonight to see David & Lily - hope to get to Hipsters tomorrow (coming with a couple of young pretty and great dancers too, Manda & Helen)

Don't you mean 'a couple of OTHER young, pretty and great dancers...'? I need to brush up on my treble-trouble
