Actually, I'd have thought that was not too far from the truth. Old fire engines are bought up for the hen night rituals (I've seem them trundling round Glasgow on a Friday night) - how about something similar based on ambulances for the lads, replete with *ahem* nurses?I've no idea, but if you join two together and fit it with a cocktail bar, would that make it a stretchered limo?

Here's a zany, crazy, off-the-wall idea... why not just buy a camper van? Or is that too simple?
Better to buy an ambulance for £3000 and spend £1500 converting it to do something it wasn't designed for?

I have no idea where the old ambulances end up besides the usual quips.. but i know there is one a couple of streets down from me that has been converted likewise!
