The sun is shining
I'm going to the theatre tonight
I'm one day nearer to seeing Beo again
Just read the Daily Mail and everything in it is doom, gloom, foot and mouth, and negativity, made me quite depressed (as it would anyone).
So I got to thinking, what is actually good about today..??
Then the postman delivered a very funny card from a friend ,what a surprise! made me chuckle, so I kicked the paper in to the bin (where it belongs )and now have a very different head on.....
What's good about your day?

Blue sky, cotton wool clouds. Nuff said.
What's good about today? let me see...
"The Sun is shining in the sky
there aint a cloud in sight
it's stopped raining
Everybody's in the play
And don't you know
it's a beautiful new day, Hey-hey
Running down the avenue
See how the sun shines brightly
In the city
On the streets where once was pity
Mr. Blue Sky is living here today, Hey- Hey-hey"
I'm sitting out in the sun reading one of my favourite books
Blue Sky..... Washing on the line and getting dry! Working from home....
Life's fine......
Its not actually raining (though threatening to!).
Its less than an hour til home time.
A friend is coming round for tea.
I'm going dancing tonight.
I'm in Norway and just did local tv and its not raining .
Stop reading the Daily Mail! Mind you most papers will make you feel that way nowadays. Even here in Norway. Last night we supported Toto, (80s band, hold the line, affrica) and although they're not my style they played really well for two hours to over 3000 people and newspaper today slagged them off with "Halfhearted Toto" as the headline. (?)
Blue sky (where did THAT come from)
Just back from France (ie 0100h this morning)(still trying to adjust and NOT reply to people in French).
Have had a blissfully lazy day - reading books and doing not-a-lot else.
Going to see friends and dance with them tonight, including one of my faviourite waltzers (ie waltzing person, not fairground ride).
I got a pressie from work today - an iPod shuffle, in a rather lurid green.
The parent company is doing rather well, so we all got a present to mark the occasion
Gav's cooking dinner tonight Night off for DT.
Its my birthday, its sunny, I have been eating chocolate cake and potatoes with loads of butter,[not together]I am going to the beach soon to have a walk and share a picnic with my daughter, I have the most lovely friends in the world who have made me feel really special, and I have a nice weekend of dancing and meeting family and friends to look forward to.
if you love the life you live then you'll get a lot more done
It's friday tomorrow
