It is fine for you to ask as lots of people always wonder.

1) Yes people do cheer, just waving their arms and when there is a goal, jumping around, punching the air .

2) yes they are more observant, they tend to watch other players plus the ball.

3) the referees dont have trouble as when someone notices that referee stop and is waving his arm, the player usually let everyone know ie spread the word. so everyone stops or players keep an eye on the referee.

we do have a scotland team, england team, GB team, 4 clubs in Scotland, England too many, Edinburgh DFC be playing against Belfast DFC in British Cup so be going over there in october!
