Had a quick look on the internet and can't find any reference. The wife has won two tickets to Bergen. Does anyone know if there is anything similar to ceroc between Tuesday and Thursday in Bergen?

Baby Peaches runs dance classes in Stavanger, not Ceroc, but modern jive.
Not sure where and when, though

Er....... Bugg is a Swedish dance style, not Norwegian. In Norway we dance swing or 'folkeswing' (Norwegian style of swing/jive). And Bodø is nowhere near Bergen, I'm afraid. In fact, it's 1455 kilometers further north....
Stavanger is also rather far away from Bergen if you just want a night's dancing (370 kilometers)..... I also think Baby Peaches has stopped teaching there (hasn't she moved out of the country? Dubai or some far-flung place like that??), but there are still jive nights/classes taught by a Norwegian girl.
But fear not, there is dancing in Bergen. The organisation kom og dans run classes in swing, tango, salsa and line dancing, and have regular dance parties. If you need help with contacting them or translating the website, just give me a shout.
Have fun in Norway!
Just had a read through the website - they have freestyle nights (swing) every Thursday from 8pm to 10.30pm at Ulriken Bydelssenter. Entry is roughly £6.
In Norway, like most places, they dance all sorts of stuff, and there are many references on the Internet to people dancing "Bugg" there, including in Bergen. Bugg, like Ceroc, has travelled. There are some clips on Youtube showing bugg in Finland which looks more MJ'ish, which is why I gave it as a possibility.
I put Bergen in as a search term, and expected a Bergen'ish answer.... And Bodø is nowhere near Bergen, I'm afraid. In fact, it's 1455 kilometers further north...

Yes, but in Norway it's normally called 'folkesving', and is slightly different (but related) to bugg. Although occasionally I've seen it advertised as bugg or 'svensk sving' (Swedish swing) too.
Of course, it's about 11 years since I taught 'folkesving' in Norway, and more dance classes may have started referring to it as 'bugg' since then. In my day that was just what the funny Swedes danced...
Hi all we found the venue and were warmly welcomed
Folkswing moves are very similar to MJ, the end of the moves seem to be the main difference
