There was a slightly different take on the Surface by Sarcastic Gamer.
Still I see a lot of application for things like this even if it takes a couple of generations before they've nailed it.
Has anyone put together instructions for a DIY or even open-source version yet ?
The hard bit has been done - Atlas Gloves: A DIY Hand Gesture Interface for Google Earth.
The rest is just joinery, PC, projector, webcams.
Even the use of an acrylic sheet with edge-illumination for the touch sensor is documented.
Maybe a little software ...
It's just a matter of time !
