It sometimes takes a while before bleedin' obvious is pointed out
MPs spot the obvious problem in creating a big crowd of people waiting to have their bag checked, in case one of them is a nutter who wants to, erm, blow up a big crowd of people.
Good to see they're on the case.

And I thought it was very kind of them to give the idea publicity in case there are any terrorists out there who haven't thought of it themselves yet...
Actually, I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. It's basically the tactic being used in Baghdad on a regular basis now (not that 50 people being blown up in Baghdad makes it far up the news agenda these days). Find a crowd (market, checkpoint, football supporters, etc) walk/drive into it - boom.
As a wiser man than me once said: "The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."
Me and DTS flying to Bulgaria for a week next Thursday. Anyone got any ideas how we can avoid sitting in the crowds and potentially get bombed then.
Glancing at the Metro today, I see that if you fly out of John Lennon Airport, by paying £2 you can jump into a "fast track" queue at the baggage security check.
Wonder how that works? Are the wee rollers that feed your plastic tray of belongings into the scanner motorised? 5 people pat you down simultaneously? Or do they just ask you nicely "have you got a bomb?" (maybe they just ask you what your favourite colour is - no Lou, put that lead pipe down...).
Imagine all the people, blown to smithereens...
