Looking is fine. Us girlies are not so gullible that we don't know you men look at other women. You wouldn't be men if you didn't.

Dees got a man after 24yrs, I wrote a song

Sally stop me dancing, when she got the word,
She said "I suppose you've heard
About Dee and the Ashtons balcony."

So, I rushed to the edge of the dance floor, and I looked up there,
And I could hardly believe my eyes,
This small 3 wheeler pulled slowly into Dees drive.

I don't what she is doing, or where she's gonna go,
I guess she's got her reasons but I just don't wanna know,
'Cause for 24 years I've been trying to get Dee up in the Balcony.
24 years, just waitin' for a chance,
To tell her how I'm feeling, maybe get a second glance,
Now I've gotta get use to not trying to get into Dees drive

We walked together, two kids in the park,
Carved our initials deep in the bark
    - Me and Dee

Now she walks to the door, with her head held high, bangs her head
Just for a moment, I caught her eye,
As the there wheeler pulled slowly out of Dee drive up in the balcony, who is that guy ?

I don't why she's leaving, or where she's gonna go,
I guess she's got her reasons but I just don't wanna know,
'Cause for 24 years I've been trying to get Dee up in the Balcony
24 years, just waitin' for a chance,
To tell her how I'm feeling, maybe get a second glance,
Now I've gotta get used to not use to not trying to get into Dees drive

Sally called back, and asked how I felt,
She said "I know how to help..
    You get over Dee
She said "Now Dee is gone, but I'm still here ill bounce around with you on the Ashton floor
    - You know I've been waiting 24 years."
And the 3 wheeler disappeared .
I don't why she's leaving, or where she's gonna go,
I guess she's got her reasons but I just don't wanna know,
'Cause for 24 years I've been waiting for Dee

24 years, just waitin' for a chance,
To tell her how I feel and maybe get a second glance,
But I'll never get used to not living next door to Dee

Ashton Audience: Dee, Who the **** is Dee? Who the **** is Alice who the **** is Wendy ?, who the **** is Sally ? Who the **** is Karen , who the **** is Tom ?

No, I'll never get used to not living being in the balcony with Dee

I don't hate men, Martin. Men just like to think they are angels when we all know they are devils. I should know, I gave birth to two of them.

DT tries to make it look like she didn't look misandrist up in the dictionary.

You two need your bloody heads banging together.!

Sheppy back to your serious question which has been lost as the opportunity to start a Gender war has been taken on your thread.

I was at Ashtons tonite and can report that the floor although still very slippy has slowed down considerably.

but it is still quite fast. I wore Jazz Trainers tonight that did the trick for me.

Dont be put off if you think the folks are clicky

they are not but they do all know each other well so you may have to "Break In"

    I hope you enjoy yourself

I know what its like to be unhappy and i'm certainly not that, I would be if I settled for a liar that treats you badly

As I always put it. you can go out for a hill walk, and stand at the top of the mountain and admire the scenery .. it doesn't mean you're going to buy all the land you see though.

Instead You get your own little plot and you tend to it, and you nurture it, You look after it if it needs help and you plant beautiful things in it. Along the way you may get a few thistles, or some plants may not survive but with enough dedication you get somewhere beautiful to sit in and grow old together.

Sheppy didn't go! He obviously got frightened off by all the talk of balcony adventures. I had a fab night, and with no visit to the balcony!

Unfortunately dodgy foot caused by new pair of dance shoes meant I didn't go to any dance venues at all this weekend
