    MJ classes near Lancaster?

A friend of mine is wanting to take up dancing again, after not having set foot on a dance floor for over two years. He used to do a bit of Ceroc, and showed great promise, but sadly gave it up because of other interests and work commitment. Now, however, he's got a girlfriend who used to do MJ, and he's wanting to get back into dancing again - but where?

The closest Ceroc venue I've been able to fint (to Lancaster) is Wigan, but apparently there is an MJ club in Chorley, too. Anyone been to this/know anything about it?

What's the classes in Wigan like?

    Any other classes near Lancaster?

    Cheers!

    LM

Hi there the class in Chorley was originally run by a singles organisation called Northern Link and they had two fabulous people teaching Phil and Wendy, two of my friends. The Northern Link pulled out but the people who went along were so enjoying their dancing that Phil and Wendy started it up on their own. It is run on a Thursday night between 7.30 and 10.30pm at St Bedes Social Club which is in Clayton le Woods on the A6 going into Chorley. There is another contact for Chorley but I think they just do freestyles contact james.henry73@ntlworld.com I haven't been to either but can say that Phil and Wendy are good teachers.

Dancing in Wigan there are two organisations - Barnside Jive and Ceroc Manchester - both organisations are on uk Jive website. I don't tend to go to these but I believe that they are well attended.

Would be great if MJ came to Preston but there is lots of ballroom and salsa in Preston .

    Hope that helps
