Kali is Franchisee for Ceroc UK
to Zara for judging
Might see you there but undecided yet.....
I think others will tell you that she is, simply, a very talented competition dancer, more than qualified to judge the categories we'll be giving her to preside over. She's also a lovely person who is enthusiastic and delighted to have been asked - we think she will do a great job.
As for franchisees judging, can't see the concern you have there, however please note that both are teachers too.
As last year, the judges will be suitable for the categories. Please come along, we'd welcome the feedback.
Sledge Hammer....Trust me, I know what I'm doing!
Come on - there must be more than 5 forumites going and competing
Just seems funny that all the people from the midlands are coming down south for the weekend
Theres no fun in that tho! thats not the reason we enter Nothing like a good healthy competition!
Maybe you should set your sights on the proper champs at the Troxy then babe. Or do the Midland champs as a little dry run. I am sure it would be valuable to some to have a practice run in front of a small crowd, with only a few other competitors to help build their confidence up.
It's no secret that we live literally three minutes from the venue, but we're driving down to London to dance over the weekend. Got to ask yourself why
Re:Maja
Yes, I guessed that she was a teacher
I also see she's doing a Latin Ceroc workshop this weekend for Ceroc Chilterns:
It then goes on to say:Take your dancing to the next level adding flair, fervour, sensuality and Latin fever!
Now, is it me, or is this an entirely meaningless description? I know Latin, but I haven't got a clue what she'll be teaching based on that description...Originally Posted by moree from the blurb

Also, whilst I'm in rant mode, isn't this weekend a bit of a mistake timing-wise?
I mean, you've got so many other things going on this weekend, it's unlkely that you'll get the same level of talent as you would have (say) last weekend, which was pretty dead all around the UK.
If you want credibility for a competition, presumably you want to attract the best talent - and scheduling it against so many other things doesn't seem the best way of doing so.
Is it just bad luck, or what?
