Now the London champs are out of the way, I hope all the winners will be competing at the Midlands champs
I might even do lucky dip or maybe not
nearer the time I will try and co-ordinate accomerdation for people traveling like cheep hotels, or mine for a party i'm sure Stokie and TB will help to
For those who havn't been 'the Kings hall' Stoke is a lovely venue
The Midlands 'Champs' are on 10th November this year. I will be inviting last years winners to defend their titles with free entry to that category and the same will apply to the London Champions.
Lucky Dip entry will be free to contestants taking part in another category. So there's a challenge for you Fletch
I've included a Beginners Freestyle Trophy this year.

Sledge Hammer....Trust me, I know what I'm doing!
I should be there, am trying to persuade bf he wants to go.
What is the defintion of a 'teacher'? I seem to remember there was some time limit, like 12 months since you got paid. If so I'll be eligible to enter the Old Gits section
cheek what you trying to say Mike
you better be young lady, and I hope you will be dressed more apropriatly this year
i'll have every one at mine that will upset the nabours, but it don't take a lot anyway
If I move the furnitue in the conservitory we can dance
aerials, AERIALS you better ask Antony up from Exeter then
someone who's passed ther exams isn't it
are you putting something on, on the Sauturday
found you a Fab new DJ .....Ian who DJ's for Debbie at worchester, grab him quick Mike he is brill
If only it was that simple ... but as there are many teachers that don't pass exams, that defintion wouldn't work. Last I heard it was "anyone who had a taught a MJ or related class/workshop in the last 12 months for pay". Hving said that I've heard so many variations on that I don't know what the rules are any more. Being practical, if someone hasn't taught for a good while, should they still be classed as a 'teacher'?
That is a brilliant idea. Would be great to have something on the night before. Having the pre-champs parties at London the other weekend made the whole weekend far more enjoyable and exciting. Also gives the competitors chance to have a final practice before the big day. I think more people may attend if they could make a weekend out of it too.
Yili you are always welcome here babe.
Has nothing to do with being blonde babe. Everything to do with this thread saying the 4th November!
2 Ians are fab but Halesowen is quite a way from Stoke. Anyone planning on coming down from above Stoke are not likely to travel all that way to Halesowen. Surely the whole idea of a pre-champs party is to have it near the home of the champs? There a loads of places around the Stoke area to have a party.
What does that one say Fletch? ..................... Fletch's biatch
Sorry did try so hard to refrain from that one Bad Twirlie Bad!!!!!
