"You're not going to like me for this....."
but I watched Jeremy Kyle on "National Television" the othe day at lunch time "FACT!"
"Look at me!"
The one I saw was titled "hounded out of three houses because im Ginger" can anyone beat this?
"It had to be said"
Theye are all overly used quotes from Jeremy Kyle. Another is
"Im Jeremy Kyle"
ahhhh now i get it.
FYI i dislike jeremy kyle. In fact the thought of watching him on television feels me with a need to rub myself up and down in itchy powder whilst singing the song, Hit me baby one more time...... He is absolute rubbish.
In fact rubbish is clearly an understatment, he should be SHOT.
and just to confirm im not alone....

I am going to control myself ...right deep breaths, I can do this, that man is sooooooooo NOT person you need to be dealing with serious matters like self harm, eating disorders, domestic violence. Of course you say to someone who has anorexia...well why don't you eat then? you should eat you know?
Better stop now, but I agree with Trouble.

He is extremely patronising to the pond life he has on the show, but I have to say...I never put the telly on during the day when I'm home. I can't trust myself not to watch Jeremy Kyle. It's like a car crash, you just can't help looking.
I do watch Pip and Fern every now and then though. I love 'This Morning' and I want Dr Chris to be my GP.
Rubbish. Obviously the people who are on it do watch it because they write in to the JK show to get on (usually to have a free test for the four men that might or might not be the father of their baby) but that doesn't mean EVERYONE who watches it is like the people who go on it.
JK is like a watered down version of Jerry Springer and I know for a fact that Steven Fry is a huge fan of both shows. Is he the type of person that would usually go on the JK Show? I suspect he is just fascinated by the people on there.
I think his popularity comes from people wanting to know about other people's miserable situations. The show highlights the saddness in peoples' lives who for whatever reason have to come onto national tv to gain notoriety through their distress. Or maybe are tempted by their 5 minutes of fame. Haven't got a clue why people would want to expose themselves like that. Have had the experience of knowing someone, that was known to a colleague in a professional way, that went on the show and the effect on the children later was devasting.
I think people are always fascinated by other people's lives and wondering if others are better or worse than theirs to help make them feel better perhaps? It is for me the way he approaches people with no notion of the effect of his brash, intrusive and insensitive, almost look at me I can cope why can't you attitude, when people like JK with all the opportunities he has had ,are not all starting out from the same starting block. If you notice many of the people on the show are from poor backgrounds and probably not well educated, and shows like this take advantage and almost mock people because they are not intelligent and articulate. I still have no idea why anyone would go on a show like that
And sorry don't like Trishe or Oprey either.
Being the very sad person that I am, I actually like these types of programs - I watch, Trisha, Gerry Springer, Oprah, Vanessa (when she hosted them), the MP chap, whose name I have forgotten etc etc - and actually enjoy most of the shows but................ I find JK opennly rude and arrogant and shows little interest in the people on his show - have to say I haven't watched many of his programs, but only because he aggrevates me.

I don't think your sad Minnie, we all have a curiosity about what's going on in other people's lives and its like the way DT describes it really, car crash, we all slow down to have a look knowing that we are not going to like what we see but we watch it anyway. I just feel sad for the people who go on the program if they really go on thinking they are going to get help for JEREMY KYLE ...help us and preserve us from such people in our hour of need Amen.

Don't know about JK, as don't watch it (well have only seen a couple shows) but Trisha really seems to help people, some of her guests are given time with very expensive therapists etc., including followups to see how they are doing, and she rarely has the 'on stage fights' as in Gerry Springer (have to say his shows are a joke and think most of it is staged)

Because I need to GET A JOB I have the dubious luxury of having daytime TV at my disposal. I may be very sad in your eyes madam but I absolutely love Jeremy Kyle. I sit and watch the afternoon double bills and it's brilliant. Stokie hates it so I don't get to watch it as much as I would like to but yes I love it. The people on there are sooooooooooo fascinating. Watching humans interact in such a way is brilliant entertainment. I don't understand why these people actually go on there though. They must know what it's about.
I have seen him really help some people and the follow up programmes are excellent.
Has anyone seen the Titty Titty Bang Bang sketch about Jeremy Kyle? Excellent.
I really don't like Trisha. It's so lame in comparison. I hate the ways she's so 'normal'.
On a side note I watched about 20 minutes of Jeremy Springer the other day. Haven't seen in in years. I was gobsmacked. If you think Kyle is bad you should catch a look at Springer. It was excellent. Lets' just say big big man who never bathes or washes in very dirty clothes being bathed (naked) by about seven security men. Rags on sticks kind of jobbie. Seriously disgusting
Oh and yes. I love Big Brother. Love it. E4 live streaming pretty much every waking hour. How sad.
