Hoping for some help!? Lift share?

This is my first post - so "hi everybody". I havent posted much but done a lot of reading.

I am going to the Aberdeen Beach Ballroom in a couple of weeks and hoping to catch up with my friends from Inverness (though now they know I am going, numbers may dwindle).

I am flying up to meet you all on the Saturday morning and the plan was to fly back down here to my current base in Brum - (staying in the Northern hotel)

Ever since I left Inverness in May (after the sudden loss of my contract) I have been battling like mad to get back North of the Border. I have final stage interview in Edinburgh on the Monday at 2pm.

I have changed my flights so I can fly back from Edinburgh - so I was hoping that someone going to the ball would be coming back to the capital on Monday morning and would be willing to give me a lift? Of course I could use public transport (probably the train?) but it would be better for me if I had someone to chat with and I'd pay the petrol costs. It is just an idea and I will not be upset if no-one feels inclined.
