Please speak louder, young sir ...
Well, the lovely Nick Ross has made his last appearance last night on crimewatch after 23 years. Yes 23 years, thats scary isn't it. So we will never hear the words from him "dont have nightmares, do sleep well".
He was axed cause bosses said the show needed refreshing.
Isn't this ageism at its most obvious.
How do the BBC get away with it.
Are we all to be classed as useless at 59 years old which is what he is.
Thoughts guys.?
Please speak louder, young sir ...
They are not renewing the contract of the other bird on it either (can't remember her name).
The beeb have said it's nothing to do with age, they just want to get rid of them both because they are both a bit...well...boring.
Poor old Nick. He looked all upset when he said good night. Oh well...I'm sure he has earned a few quid out of it over the years. I bet he has a better house and pension than the rest of us, so I don't give a toss really.

Fiona Bruce.
There's a thread idea for you...
Moira Stuart was sacked in March for being too old I think, the BBC are occasionally dumb beyond belief. Kids don't watch the news anyway, or Crimewatch for that matter...
He's got a lot of strings to his bow - public speaking, chairing meetings, etc. He probably won't starve.
this begs the question - shoud we sack people from the forum for being too old ?
Nick Ross.. sacked... from crimewatch?
Shocking!
Don't have nightmares now !
