I don't know it, so maybe that's "as we all know, except for DavidJames"?
She did some good things, she did some bad things. As far as "Good at her job" ratings go, I'd rate her as "better than Fergie or Andrew, about the same as Charles, and worse than the Queen". 6/10 - 7/10, basically.
Well unless your completely incompetant, which i know your not, you do know. We know she was a good mum because not only did we see that and feel that on the news, the boys do not seem to remember any ill doing on her part and seem quite normal considering they lost her at quite an early age under suspicious circumstances and it continues to this day.
With regards her doing her job as representative for this country, the income raised for any charity work she did was enormous. She only had to turn up and they would earn out of it. Job done.
Theres no doubt she did lots of positive things with her life - but so did/does Princess Anne - yet she manages to avoid the news. Partly because shes less photogenic perhaps, but mainly because she has no time for the media.
The Union of crowns took place centuries ago, do keep up won't youDiana was the mother of the future king of England
Fair point. Charles was once quoted as saying he didn't want to break with the tradition of having a mistress - every other heir to the throne had one. I think some people imagine the Royals should be near flawless when they are as human as the rest of us. That goes for Charles, Diana and the rest of them. Now dont get me wrong, the woman is entitled to sex, of course she is but she should have done what all the other royals have done all these years and kept it under wraps, represented the country and got on with the job she accepted the day she said ......I do Charles
What is suspicious about her death? She was in a car going too fast that crashed. There's no reason to think the Prince's subscribe to the El Fayed: "they done 'er in guv" set of conspiracy theories. Also as Royals they are not likely to portray anything on TV other than the positive. So DJ is right - we really have no idea how good a mother she was, and its not nice you bringing it up either
The media are not interested in ugly royals who smoke, swear and dress like a farmers wife clearing out the pig pen...also Diana had a higher profile than Anne
That doesn't make sense. On the one hand you say that Charles wanted a mistress like all the other heirs, but on the other hand, you say they are human like the rest of us.
If the present Mr DT said he wanted to take a mistress, id serve his balls up to him for dinner.

So the media is bigoted then ? You're right you know
Wheres the conflict Its the flaws that make us human. That doesn't make sense. On the one hand you say that Charles wanted a mistress like all the other heirs, but on the other hand, you say they are human like the rest of us.
.....although she did do a lot of sterling charity work, I still didn't really have much time for her. Charles was unfaithful with one woman ( that we know of ) a relationship that stretched back a lot further than his time with Diana. Diana had a series of affairs with several fairly high profile men. her passing had no affect on my life. She led a very privileged life while she was on this mortal coil, so I find it very difficult to feel sorry for her, just as I would find it difficult to empathise with the plight of any other member of the royal family.
Re the Union of Crowns..... hee, hee yep.. it happened.. and until something drastic happens... he'll be King of the United Kingdom... not just England!!!
And Charles, well, what a stupid thing to say, Dumbo!!
That's my chances of being a Dame shot in the foot now!
