What's your favourite confectionery?

I was in Crieff a few weeks ago and they have a fantastic sweet shop (on the main street) filled with all of the old favourites. Chocolate Violets, Horehound, Rhubarb Rock, Cherry Lips, Cinnamon Oddfellows, etc. etc. etc

in northern ireland we call these cinnamon losenges! and they are

mmm tablet! I want the proper homemade stuff not the packaged stuff so if anyone knows where to get it and would like to bring it to the scottish champs, or even point me in that direction please!

Crieff here I come! This shop sounds like heaven!! There is a small sweet shop in Forfar who makes fantastic tablet and coconut ice!!

Haven't tried them, couldn't quite work out who the makers were trying to sell them too, but i'm thinking boys instead of girls - not Really sure what the ad was trying to say (I'll let someone else attach it..)

I have found half a dozen recipes - so you can make your own - enjoy (oh and if you are as addicted as I think you are you will probably be at least 2 skirt sizes larger next time I see you.. ) and I'll put one in the cakes thread for you
