Howabout a camp in Guildford in August teaching savoy style lindy?

I need some advice!
I've just realised that with my new position at work I'm actually entitled, nay encouraged, to jet around the world (ok, the UK) and speak to our clients face to face rather than by email the whole time. So, I'm seriously considering organising a trip somewhere in August involving two days of work and a weekend of going dancing and visiting friends.
Trouble is, nothing seems to be happening in August! The Scottish events are all in July (which is too soon to plan) or October (which clashes with the rest of my life, and it won't be sunny anymore). And I don't really know a lot about what happens dancewise in the rest of the country, or even who lives there most of the time. After all, most of the people I know spend half their time in London anyway
So, can anyone give me a suggestion of a weekend where things are happening that would be worth me travelling to - preferably near a town with a university which means I can do some work while I'm there (and therefore get them to pay for half of the trip)?

There are a couple of events in Edinburgh at least, early in September that you might want to visit us for, including a CJ event, and the Ceroc Scotland Champs.
There's also the Kirriemuir weekend which is quite near Dundee...
