I had to change out of my jeans which were stuck to me. Chiswick is the only venue where I take a change of clothes, because the heat levels are always high there. The main room was only 2 degrees cooler.
I think it should have been called "the Broiler Room"! Had two dances in there - and could hardly breathe it was so stuffy. Had to retreat to the main room.No ventilation is the problem IMO. If they open up the internal and external doors the noise levels will increase. Neighbours will complain?
I assume, since it wasn't actually that hot outside on Saturday, that the problem must've been the rain and hence increased humidity. I don't think that even fans would make much difference - a dehumidifier to suck some of the moisture in the air is what's needed. Otherwise it will continue to be like dancing in a sauna
Why do people buy houses near Town Halls, Entertainment venues, then complain about noise levels.
Putney and the Moonglow have that problem too. Plus the Jive Bar.
