I forgot all about this and booked something else the same day. Actually looking at the schedule maybe I could do both. Just need to find out how far Bisley is from East Grinstead.

Oh go on. I'm sure you can make it...

This year includes Acker Bilk, Rob and Claire Austin, the Jiving Lindy Hoppers...
and of course save a dance for me

I believe there will be a Ceroc tent too. You can bring your girl too, have a picnic by the lake...

    Re: Summertime Swing

Well you guys who didn't go today missed a fab day

This was my first Summertime Swing, and it will now be on my diary as a regular Yearly thing

What a really really fab day

I went along with a muggle and she was totally amazed by the whole thing.

I got there at 4pm after being sent to a residential area by my NavMan GPS (it WAS the correct post code) - but I stopped someone and asked directions and soon found it.

It was already buzzing and it had only been on for an hour

The boys in yellow were amazing I love their swing stuff

The BBQ was full of yummy burgers and sossies - and the veggie BBQ IMO was even better

The Jiving Lindy Hoppers + Robert & Claire's Swing Cats gave us lots of great cabarets and then........... Louis Prima's daughter what a lady
and then ......... the very fantastic Acker Bilk ......... wow when he played "Stranger on the Shore" is was a...........may.........zing..............

Not forgetting the Hog Roast .......... and the fab raffle............ and the fantastic dancers etc etc etc ...... all in all a fantastic day (and I didn't stay long enough to see the fireworks)
