    Another cryptic thread title, but hopefully thought provoking.

    I heard about this on the R4 news, and could not believe my ears.

    If a recorporated Emperor Nero turned up in the present day, he might bemoan the lack of savage justice, but he'd certainly recognise the entertainments on offer to the modern television watcher.

    The price of human dignity is now so low that we no longer have coins of small enough denomination to buy any.

    I'm glad it was a hoax.

    Am I crediting endemol with too much machiavellianism in wondering if it is significant that this omigod stunt took place in the same week that the new UK Big Brother began...?
