    Dancing in Cornwall

Beo and I are planning a week away in Cornwall late in the summer, and it'd be good to be able to dance whilst we are down there - does anyone have any ideas/recommendations? I can't find a "Ceroc Cornwall" on the Ceroc website.

Will probably be staying in Mevagissey if I have my way, or near Penzance or St Ives.

Thought asking now means we can plan better!

Thats cos there is no ceroc in cornwall!

Ur best option is newquay jive, on a thursday night, however, its not at newquay its now in indian queens, google the name for their website, there is a class on a monday night at rosudgeon, smaller venue but the peeps are well frendly, and would be closer to you if your in penzance area, i think details for that are on uk jive. If you want to go further afield, about an hour and a half, theres plymouth jive on a tues, and they have a freestyle every fri, they also have a website. If you go to indian queens on a thurs, chances are your see me, so would be great to dance, im young guy, dark hair, called nick. Enjoy!

I've been there and the locals were very friendly. I had a really good night. Look out for the Richard Gere lookalike, he is absolutely fabulous (my favourite dance partner of all time).

I'll 2nd that. Lots of good men and I loved the music. Make sure you get a dance with Murphy himself - very musical. (Wonder if he remembers dancing with the tubby little redhead?)
