Apart from Chill and Swish has awesome foursome been taught anywhere else and what's the general feeling on it?
Does anyone do it or know the moves that work and the moves that don't?
Steve

I came up with the title Awesome Foursome and was (with Dan, Louise & Evelyne) the first to teach it a major weekenders in 2002 (I think)
i am sure other teachers had taught simmilar formats before our class at Camber, but we were the first to coin the phrase awesome foursome and the first to teach the format at major MJ events
We now teach this at southport and when we do it is great fun, it tends to be the last class of the weekend and is a fun way to end the classes
T prepare the routine we meet up sunday lunchtime in the bar area (4 hours before the class starts) to make up the moves & routine - no prior preperation is made, and the dancers watch the moves develop as we get tangled in knots and fall about on the floor
We originaly taught at Southport with James & Melanie, nowadays we just grab a passer by and teach with them...........well almost, last June I needed to find a partner for Roger Chinn, so just tapped a lady on the shoulder and asked if she would teach with us in the main hall at southport - supprisingly she said yes, thank you Isabelle
The class is madness, but the moves and routines are good (and have been incorporated into MJ team routines), the music, well on one occasion we taught to the crazy frog track.
I try to finish with either everyone fallinfg in a heap on the floor or hoisting a lady into the air and walking around the room with them
So that is awesome foursome, nice of ceroc to use our title, wonder if they used our moves as well
Our last awesome foursome class was in June 2006, but do not think Awesome Foursome is on the Agenda for June 07
Peter
ps we do offer workshops in awesome foursome
blatent plug over
edit..we can teach it as a serious class, but after a weekender of world class teachers at southport it seemed fun to finish on a silly note

At Chill I heard somebody say 'Has there been an Okie Doky workshop?'
Did look strange being done on the dance floor.
