Men - Trousers without a belt - OK or No Way?

Inspired by recent disagreement with Sparkles I wanted to put this to the forum vote.

I think men (mid twenties onwards - I'll admit there's a fetish for younger fellas to bare their ar*e or at least their boxers over the top of their jeans) wearing trousers that have belt loops (including jeans) without a belt is a fashion faux-pas on a par with wearing socks and sandals together It's especially bad when their top is tucked in but that's a debate we've had here before. Belt loops are there for a reason - use them!

Agree or disagree - poll to follow.......

IMO...always a belt, preferably with a fitted shirt, tucked in. Lovely.

N.B. You need a decent body to carry this look off. Beer bellies need not apply.

completely agree......even if you don`t necessarily need a belt due to some minor miracle of having a perfectly fitting pair of strides you should always wear one...and even if you are covering the area with a t shirt worn on the outside it`s still a neccessity IMHO.....

Never ever ever wear trouser without a belt.

Even the hip hop kids whos trousers fall down to show boxers still wear belts.

    Tucked = belt
Untucked = no need for a belt, it just makes an ugly bump where the buckle sits.

    You're sure it's the buckle?

I'm one of those crazies that doesn't bother with a belt unless I'm wearing my shirt/t-shirt tucked in or that my jeans are too big and therefore I wear one to keep them up.

I'm rather disappointed that 'No Way' is only leading by 1 vote at the moment

TBH, belts are for old men Robert, you don't wanna be old like woodface do ya

Being the fashion God on the forum, you should therefore listen to me and not Sparkles (love ya hun ) and not wear a belt!

Sparkles agrees with you, not me hence the disagreement.

If I listened to you I'd end up wearing flared pink trousers and knotting my top around my midriff and that's enough to scare a mastiff

I personally always wear a belt even when my jeans are hanging half way off my arse i just think it looks odd not having a belt especially when wearing trousers!!

    Raha! Sparkles is right!

You wouldn't suit flared pink trousers, but the knotting of tops around your midriff might be a good idea
