After a truly great dance I'm on a high. I want to savour it, never think of asking for another.

If it's a mindblowing dance I also ask their name and try to memorise their face.

    Re: Encouraging confidence

I have said this on another thread, but here goes...

We as men in MJ are in an enviable position, there is nearly always more ladies than men at any do.

Therefore the ladies have to ask the men, if a man refuses he should be shot on the spot, as it is harder for a lady to ask a man than vicer versa.

I have been refused a couple of times and i was gutted, it must be worst for ladies.

Therefore never refuse always smile and say that was marvellous, talk to your partner and make her feel special and dance all night will you.

Never be rude and never refuse.

If someone said "Take me home and have my babies" I'd take it less seriously as well, being a bloke. Now if they said "take me home, I want to have your babies" that would be different.

    Re: Encouraging confidence

Encouraging confidence and reassuring new dancers is still a hot topic, and beyond a smile, and heartfelt thank you, I would love to hear more ideas on how we can reassure beginners and occasionally counteract the negative experiences they might experience on their first nights?
    Franck.

    There's an A.P.P. for that!
