    Youthful dominance at the champs....

Having now fully recovered from the amazing day at the champs and being returned to normality tonight at my regular venue with a crash, something struck me about the champs in general.....not just the amount of sensational dancers aged say between 16-25 at the champs but the amount of youngsters bloody well winning most things.....Obviously Tom and Vicki immediately spring to mind, the young couple who won the intermediate who were fantastic also, the girl of the couple and her friend/sister in ceroc x were fab also, the advanced winners can only be in their mid 20`s, when you add into the mix people of the quality of talents like Alex F, Chelsea, imogen and Jamie etc etc it does beg the question.how long before the old gits competition is for over 25`s the youth are leaving their mark and no mistake.............

    Argggh!
    Old gits over 25?

So would there be a geriatric section if you're over 40 then?

It was Tom first time that he had been able to enter the champs....ceroc entry is 18....16 for C2D in Blackpool.

I think he is the youngest to ever win and the first to win on his first time entering, unless anyone can tell me different.

IMO Tom and Vicky are what dancing is all about, young, fun, 'go for it attitude, ooooo just like me then

so Joe only has to wait 7 years for Blackpool and 9 years for Ceroc champs...watch this space

I'm 50, so I guess I had better wait for the 'Dance With a Zimmer' category
