It's easy, just start reading the threads that degenerate into slagging matches. You'll be asleep in no time

Me too..... I'm always completely knackered at weekenders, 'cus I can't nap between classes etc. And very often I can't get to sleep (in the early hours of the morning) even after dancing all night! Storm was awful - I was so desperately tired, but just couldn't sleep at all!

A sharp blow to the head with a blunt object may help?

Staying up for a whole weekender could be quite easy if you train your mind like this guy: Man who stayed up for 266 hours awakes to bad news-News-UK-Health-TimesOnline

...he did 11 days awake........(although no dancing as far as I know)

That was the main object and I believe what he has done will surprise many scientists who did not believe it was possible. Tony not only stayed awake but handled ten media interviews a day.”
Ohmygods! Not just staying awake for 11 days, but staying coherent as well! Amazing!

I once went 8 days (and nights) without any sleep when I was a teenager. Definitely not out of choice, and I was most definitely not coherent or very much aware of my surroundings. I cried constantly, I was shaking, I kept walking into things (like walls, doorframes, furniture), and was hallucinating after just a few days. It was truly awful. Then my mum dragged me off to see my GP, I was given a sleeping tablet, and I slept for 48 hours! I only got up after 24 hours to go to the toilet, eat, have a bath, then went straight back to bed and slept for 24 hours again. It took at least a week before I started feeling vaguely human again.

I know sleep is the best cure but if you dance till 6am then want to do workshops all day, it's not the best option.

I drink red bull so much it no longer works as well. I have become immune to caffine
I think clever diet is the only way to go.

I snack on bananas, have porridge before you go to bed( wake up with bags of energy) and mid day.

Snack on pumpkin seeds and drink plenty and plenty of water.

The secret to life, the universe and everything.

That and earplugs, blindfolds and nytol, or as it should be called on weekenders; daytol.

I can only power nap for an hour at a time. Anyone thought about drinking less caffeine around home? Could be a good thing when you do a dance event like this.. Just an idea..

I'm quite glad i dont need 15 redbulls to keep buzzed. A pint of redbull will keep for 8 hours..
