Heh - I bet at Ashtons they were saying "Oh, it's quiet because everyone's at Jive Nation", and everyone at Jive Nation was saying "Oh, it's quiet because everyone's at Ashtons"

Let's face it, it was a quiet weekend in London, OK?

Or maybe they were all saying "everyone's at the Ivory Ball." It was a sell out, and a fab night, but not many Londoner's there.

Saturday was also a great night in Ashtead, I think it was busy, but I didn't venture out of the blues/WCS room.

There was plenty of space at the Funky Lush t-dance yesterday, combine that with plenty of top dancers, freshly baked cakes and great music, who could ask for more?

I really enjoyed it. The weather was great, sunny, but with a cooling breeze.

I wasn't keen on the music, but then I guess the genre was dictated somewhat by the target audience that Simon has.

I know the floor wasn't perfect, but we did seem to have plenty of space, and the non-slip feel really suited me.

And I got to dance with Gojive. The boy can move!

Years of practise with women.....running after them!

I always say that if I dance well, then it's because my partner is following well - it was a pleasure dancing with you Astro

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon
