Myself and Trouble went to Daventry last night, and i must say it was the best night we have ever had outside of a weekender.
The atmosphere was marvellous, the music was superb and there was some amazing dancers there.
The reason we went was because of Troubles car problems combined with the fact that my lovely car was playing up, so Onkar gave us a lift and away we went to Daventry.
The music was done by Sheepman, i think, and it was bang on with the right mix of West Coast Swing, Sling em about jive and slow and sleazy. Sheepy you is the man.
West Coast lesson was bang on and fun and a good time was had by all.
If anybody is thinking about Daventry i urge you to try it, it really was a first class night and me and the Trouble will be going again for sure. XXX XXX
For some reason the pics failed to attach.
Hoping they will this time!

I posted a reply on the other thread about this and don't want to repeat it here.
Bog's dollocks..that's all there is to say
I had a lovely evening too... it was great to be back on the dance circuit and catch up with some Forumites after a rather long break... Dai, thank you for the dance, nice to meet you trouble and s to all the others who braved me treading on their toes.. There were lots of others who I managed to catch up with... love to you all..
***Got a little practice in for next week at WSM... hopefully it will all come flooding back to me...
I was there and despite not dancing I did enjoy it.....I hope to make the next one and maybe actually dance this time. The one lesson I saw looked interesting and well taught. Music seemed pretty good too......
Well, I was in the area anyway, staying nearby, had reserved a ticket, and went with the intention of dancing…..but I’ve been having a problem with my right leg and with one thing and another didn’t feel like doing anything other than sitting and talking to people, watching, and listening to the music. I still enjoyed the evening.
